Activities

See below some of our previous activities, as well as ideas presented from the group!

Fermented Faith

With partnership through Saint George Church, we have had the opportunity to host Fermented Faith events. During these events, we gather at a local pub, brewery, or tavern, and a local “expert” presents on the topic of the night. We then have opportunities to ask questions, all while enjoying a beverage of choice.

Mass and Coffee

A potential event is to participate in a local mass and then enjoy coffee or breakfast after mass either in the parish or at a local eatery.

Weekly Bible Studies

We take a book or section of scripture and read through it while also being led by either a program, such as studies from the Augustine Institute or Word on Fire.

Book Studies

There are many great Catholic and Christian authors available to us to read together and discuss in a larger group. Some potential options are from C.S. Lewis, Saint Augustine, Edward Sri, Saint Thomas Aquinas, and many more.

Prayer and Praise

Opportunities to grow in our experience of prayer through practice of Lectio Divina, guided meditation, contemplative prayer, vocal prayer, and other methods.

Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration is an important part of our experience of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. We gather for times of silent adoration as well as praise and worship opportunities in adoration.

Game Night

Board games, card games, you name it! We gather on an evening and play whatever types of games that interest the group!

Movie Night

Popcorn, comfy seating, and a great movie to either inspire, entertain, or encourage!

Walks and Hikes

For our more outdoors inclined, rosary walks, prayer walks, hiking, and other outdoor activities are a potential gathering!

Bonfire Bash

We gather together for a bonfire and refreshments, enjoying the (very few) dry and clear nights together.
